Bayan Kungur

The bayan is a chromatic button accordion that emerged in the Russian Empire in the early 20th century, named in honor of the 11th-century poet Boyan.

This bayan takes its name from Kungur, a town in Russia where it was created. Manufactured during the Soviet period, it is an outstanding instrument suitable for music schools and educational use. The Kungur accordion bayans are esteemed for their superior quality, on par with Tulski accordions, which are also distinguished Soviet instruments.
